The boys and I flew into Winnipeg for 6 days, inclusive. This was the shortest visit we'd been able to muster in half a decade, but there was nothing we could do. Nick was in Europe all summer and the boys were both starting school (Nick in Carleton U and Jon at Ottawa U) during September. That left a week sometime in October. We got to celebrate my dad's 80th and we got to visit the Forks a couple of times. I got to photograph the most beautiful girl in the world (Savannah, my niece) and the visit was wonderful.
