The Tragically Hip played Brockville, ON on Thursday, 21 Feb 08, and the boys asked me to drive so the eldest and his buddies could enjoy the concert, which apparently requires a pre-concert team pitcher. So I rented a ban and we all trucked off to Brockville after work, grabbing a bite at their local Bosoton Pizza.

The venue was small, holding perhaps 500 people. But the lighting was first rate, and the sound system did not distort all that much, considering that they were at ear-splitting levels most of the night. Gord Downey was in spectacular form, entertaining the audience with his usual antics ... and because of the intimacy of the setting, he was able to interact directly.
