Jethro Tull came into Ottawa in November, playing in the National Arts Center as they did when they came a few years ago. They gave a pretty good concert, playing several songs from their first album and doing quite a bit of older stuff. Unlike last time, they did not do anything from Songs of the Wood. They did a weird version of Aqualung that he called "Stairway to Aqualung" ... a very nice intro (5 minutes perhaps) in a prog rock jazzy style, and then the more rock song itself. They did a spectacular version of "My God" ... just amazing.
