Foo Fighters in Ottawa on Wednesday, 19 March 2008. Wicked concert, if standing in one place for 5 hours is your idea of fun. I took the boys and Nick, Jon and Chris stayed against the railing half way up the catwalk. A good position, as Dave Groll walked back and forth a few times. I took the position dead center of the acoustic stage and watched the concert looking straight down the catwalk with no heads between me and the middle of the main stage. But I was 130 feet away at least. It was worth while though, because after standing in that spot for almost 4 hours, the band came out and stood feet away from me for 30 minutes or so. I could have touched the mic stand with a stretch ... and the images I got were just stunning, considering I used my little Fuji F11 ... trusty compact that it is.
