On Tuesday, 26 September 2006, Eric Clapton came to Ottawa. Robert Cray opened for him, one of the best choices any band has made this year (the other being the Guess Who, who brought Jonathan Bartholanew and Serena Ryder.) Cray played several numbers, and then joined Clapton on stage a few more times to take excellent solos and even sing duet for a while. It was a stunning concert ... as good as The Who in many ways, and better if you were after phenominal guitar playing. All the guitarists were awesome.
